Group Financial Controller

C-Suite Partners is thrilled to continue our partnership with Qscan Radiology Clinics, as we now seek to appoint a Group Financial Controller (“GFC”) for a 12-month parental leave cover contract.  

Qscan is a leading premium provider of Diagnostic Medical Imaging & Interventional services and is dedicated to delivering excellence for both patients and referrers. Operating over 70 fully owned clinics nationally, the Group strives for continuous improvement and breaking new ground.  

Reporting to the Group CFO and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the GFC will be responsible for leading the finance department and an experienced, well performing team of 15 people across accounting and financial reporting. Direct reports to the role will include Finance Business Partners, a Group Reporting Manager and a Financial Analyst. In this role you will also be involved in strategic business planning alongside the Group CFO as well as bank reporting and exposure to treasury.  

Based in Brisbane, you will need to work from the office three days per week with the other two optionally working from home. This is an excellent senior 12 month fixed term contract opportunity to lead and work with a great team and to help contribute to Qscan's continued growth and mission of providing high quality radiology services to patients and referrers by delivering trusted analysis, excellence and compassionate care. 

Key Requirements: 

• CA or CPA qualified 
• Experience and expertise in a similar senior finance role 
• Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively with peers 
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions would be viewed favourably as would healthcare industry experience although this is not essential 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to liaise, negotiate, consult with and influence senior stakeholders 
• Brisbane based or willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract (relocation assistance there and back may be provided for suitable candidates).
